Here are some interesting yet little known facts you probably never knew about the 30 year old Social Network “Hero”.
1. Where you wondering why blue was the choice color for Facebook? Well,
Mark is red and green color blind. Meaning he sees more of blue than
any other color. He once reportedly said to ABC News, “Blue is the
richest color for me. I can see all of blue.”
2. He got job offers when he was still in high school from both AOL and
Microsoft after he created Synapse, a program that used artificial
intelligence to learn users’ music-listening habits.
3. Mark Zuckerberg’s interest in programming was actually triggered by
his parents after they gifted him the book C++ for Dummies.
4. He invented Facemash in 2003. A program that he created for finding
out who the most attractive person on campus was, and that was a year
before creating facebook. The domain Facemash.com was later sold in 2010
for $30201.

6. He started Facebook with the domain TheFacebook.com on February 4th,
2004. It was actually meant for university grads back then, but was
thrown open to the public in 2006.

8. He owns a Hungarian sheepdog named Beast, who has a Facebook page with 1.5 million fans.
9. When Mark applied into Harvard University, he listed French, Hebrew,
Latin, and ancient Greek as languages he could read and write.
10. Mark started learning Mandarin-Chinese in 2010 to be able to
communicate with his girl friend’s (Chan) family since they were
Chinese.
11. He got married to Chan on May 19, 2012 in the backyard of the newlyweds’ Palo Alto, Calif., home.
12. By July 2011, Zuckerberg became the most-followed user on Google’s
social network Google+, overtaking Google co-founders Larry Page and
Sergey Brin.
